Damn, another SOHC making some huge numbers. It's funny but everyone who i've seen that build the the head in the D series, has made some serious power.

Is there any truth to back this up? I really haven't read too much, but does anyone know if there's a lot of potential left in the stock Dseries head? It sure seems like it.

Eitherway, valves and retainers is what im doin next.

As far as the boost ...its at full boost at 5000 rpm. AFR you would not believe me, but lets say the average is 13.5
</TD></TR></TABLE>

bump your comp and your turbo will spool up alot quicker. that thing would be killer if it was spooling up at 3500-4k.

this is very impressive. im picking up a sleeved d16y8 with 10:1:1 comp pistons.

im now very excited. if i drop my comp to 9:6:1 ill be making even more power than your setup, at alot lower RPM, damn im excited now.

Well with the tall deck DART you can get very close to the 4G63 rod/stroke/bore setup....So its a DSM owners nightmare come true...lol...they always wished they had a head that could flow as good as a GSR...and we always wished we had the torque....put the combo together and its very deadly...hehe...hell stick a LS head on a tall deck DART block with a 95mm stroke and a baby FMAX kit and youll get 360whp and 400fttq! at 10psi....pretty funny...

Welp im outta here guys...off to PRI to buy some new equipment for the new shop.

Howard

Ill be back next week to post the graphs...
