Default 400whp, H22A turbo, driveshafts

Hi

After much reading and searching I have some questions about a H22A turbo prelude.

I have a H22A, soon to be benson sleeved, pauter rods, cp pistons, crower retainers, valves, quaife lsd, autronic ems and so on..

1. My goal is 400whp. Can the driveshafts/axels, gearbox etc hold this amount of power? I do not dragrace this car, I only want a fast prelude than can kill some Audi S4 on the street I look for reliability.

2. What turbomanifold do you recomend? I want AC, power steering and a oversize koyo aluminium radiator (if it is enough space).

I found this manifold witch seems ok, from spoolinperformance. The wastgate is taken from the plenum and not from a single cylinder. (result; more even exhaust temps).

Do you recomend this manifold? (with my hp goal)

3. What turbo do you recomend? I have found that the garret GT30 series is OK for my setup. Ofcourse I want a fast spoolup, and with my hp goals i dont need a big *** turbo. The turbo must have ball bearings.

4. What size of intercooler can I fit my lude without cuting the chassis, holding this amout of power? Good brands are welcome.

I have a good tuner that can help me with the turbo questions, but I want a second opinion when dealing with him :-)

Thx

I would recomend some performance axles and the tranny will hold no problem.

I have a 94 accord with the prelude swap. The day after I got the swap, I broke my factory axles and that was with only 7 lbs. of boost on a drag turbo kit. To answer your question try the driveshaft shop. They have some rated for 400hp, 500hp and up from $400 to $700.

Spoolin makes other manifolds besides the log

Great manifolds, very quality

T3/T4 .57 trim can get you there on high boost
