off the wall question but boost can only be turned up and held at that boost level as good as its boost controller & w/g spring? can a manual boost controller do the trick or does it have to be electronic?

i used a manual on my setup, it works fine. its recommended that u only double the WG spring. so if your boosting 20psi, try to get a hold of at least a 10psi spring....not sure what your running now? or are u running no boost controller just the WG spring right now?

yeah i wouldnt push 20psi on the 7psi spring, any tial dealer should be able to get u a spring for your WG. many shops keep them in stock if they do a lot of tuning. when i got my car tuned we messed around with a few different springs.

so holding 18psi depends on the boost controller? Probably better to upgrade the wastegate spring?
