Default 3Map sensor work with stock ecu and no Hondata

Is it possible to use a GM 3bar Map sensor with the stock ecu and with no Hondata but just a V-afc hooked up? The reason im asking is I want to run more than 10psi with the v-afc and I know the stock Map sensor limits it to about 10psi.

I run a chiped ECU using Crome and Uberdata so I havn't tried it... But, if you use an AFC, DSM 450cc injectors, and a 3 bar... it can be made to work. The "Nutral" point of the 3 bar is lower than the nutral of the stock 2 bar honda. it will shift the fuel maps to where the 450's will compensate for the shift. then you use the AFC to tune it all. Also... because the 3bar shifts the point where the ECU will see boost... you don't have to use the normal AFC hack settings.

I personaly wouldn't try to run too much boost with an afc. But that's just me.

Good luck

yes it's possible, just mess with the MAP sensor input/output on the afc. also, if you have a fpr, mechanically tune the fuel with that along with tuning it with the afc. i was able to muster out 14.5 psi doing this, i'm sure that with dyno tuning you could possibly run more. although i wouldn't suggest doing this unless you're really confident.
