3bar map sensor

is it necessary if i dont plan on more than 10 psi of boost?

searched and didnt find the answer

OEM MAP sensors are good to 11 psi. Anything beyond that and you'll need a 2.5 or 3 Bar Map sensor. So if you keep it at 10psi, there's no need for the 3bar.

I called up MOTEC and they sent me one for like $65 shipped. Don't ask me for there number I went on-line and looked
