38mm wastegate or 44mm wastegate?

Default 38mm wastegate or 44mm wastegate?

hey, can i go to big on a wastegate? i am planning on having 250 hp but plan in the future for more power. i have a 38mm tial but i am getting a deal on a 44mm wastgate can i just put the 44mm now? and run it like that for a while with out any problem?

As long as it physically fits and you have the right spring in it for your set up it should work fine.

you will have to get the adapter to fit the 44mm on ur 38mm

i think i will just go with the 44 now,. and save money later. i have a 38mm but i will just sell it

I would go with the 44... I have had a couple different tial 38's creap after about 12 psi of boost (over 350whp though) If your getting a deal on the 44, go for it, you have nothing to loose.

I've never had any creeping problems at 15psi with the 38mm. Generally, the more horsepower you make, the smaller the wastegate should get because the less exhaust gas you need to bypass the turbo.
