Well, I would suggest the T3/T04E .82 A/R Stage III /.60 A/R 60 Trim only becasue the KA24DE has more displacement and can flow more air than a 1.8L or 2.0L. It will also insure that you make 400 whp whereas you *MAY* fall short with the .63 A/R turbine housing.

What is this crap?

The AR.63 would be better because you would get more horsepower under the curve.
i rode in a 240sx with the ka24 last nite. damn thing pulls nice from 2000rpm. i wouldnt put too big a turbo on this motor and make it all top end. the thing has a nice drivable midrange. I'd put a smaller turbo on it and make that midrange even more powerful for gunning out of turns, but thats just me. i dont know much about the ka24 engine geometry but it might not be the best candidate for top end power (drag racing). i guess that would go to the sr20det which is engineered for boost.

Well, I had teh .82 A/R on my SR2DE for quite sometime. I started boosting around 3500 and hit full boost ~ 4500 rpms. Keep in mind that this was with a smaller displacement 2.0L. I have seen may KA24's with the .63 A/R and for some reason, they can't get over the 330-340 whp range. The head does not flow well enough to make that kind of power with the .63 housing.

You also need to consider the redline of the KA engine. A jump to the AR.82 will move the torque band up and kill the street worthiness. PEAK horsepower means absolutely nothing if it takes 3 weeks to get to that point. Power under the curve is a better choice if you are not planning to ride the rev limiter everytime you get in the car. If this is a dedicated weekend warrior by all means use the larger housing but that's a waste of money if you aren't going to increase the engines breathing and revving capabilities.

Re: 350-400whp for a 2.4l (Dee)
thanks for the replys guys, and yes its for a Ka24e.... figured i'd ask here becuase you guys know your stuff. im also goin to have a mild port work on the head.
about the talk about the ar. im not worried about the peak hp, i would like a nice usable 300-350ish whp. 400 would be nice but i wont complain with anything over 300. the redline would be 7.5k thanks again
