300 WHP on stock b16 axles
wwwwassssssssuuuuuuupppp
yeah, im planning to fmax turbo a b16 in my 99 HB and... i have everything all planned out, fuel tuning, ignition tuning, boost tuning, etc. the only thing i didnt consider was the axles. the Fmax kit on a b16 claims 280-300whp on stock internals, suposing i am putting out these numbers,,, will the stock axles survive for at least a year? or will i need some beefy ones? also ive heard some **** about wheel studs snapping off, that isnt cool. basically im just asking if the stock axles and wheel studs can withstand 300whp for at least a year, or maybe two seasons becuase i plan to rebuild the engine over the winter, and ill do axles then. thanks to all that help me out!!

Honda stock axles are supposed to be strong. Be careful when using slicks on the DRAGstrip, you can snap it easier, what I have heard.

Re: 300 WHP on stock b16 axles (austrian type-R)
it just all depends on your setup. You can make over 500 and run stock axles if your slicks are not too big and you run stock engine mounts so the motor gives and not the axles. Also, usually if a wheel stud breaks, its because someone used the wrong wheel with the wrong lug nuts
