I'm keeping my stock fly when I get my clutch installed. I might now some people that can put it in for me.. How do I resurface it. Can I do it myself or must I take it to a shop? If I have to have shop equipment... then... Maybe... I will buy a Type R fly.. or... I might just go to a shop and install it there so they can resurface it.

ok so with a lightened flywheel it is supposed to make you rev faster right? Of course you always have to give up something the gain something. Im wondering what are the negatives of lightened flywheels? How light can I go with a turbo hopefully running 10 psi in the future?

Going into boost faster also means.. going OUT of boost quicker since revs drop faster too. Less inertia will slow that flywheel down quickly.
That's why i was looking into Type R flywheels, I was told they are about 15-16lbs compared to the 19lbs or someting that are on teh Civic 99 Si's. Thought it might be nice.
