3 bar MAP sensor and S-AFC
The car is a OBD0, vacuum-advanced timing d16a1/zc ('86-7 Integra engine) with built internals, etc.
Could you guys please link me to any people, threads, sites, etc. where there is info on running more than ~14psi using the S-AFC/450cc combo?
Tuning is no problem - I have plenty of dyno time.
I've searched the site for info and found only people saying it doesn't work because of the ignition advance on OBDI/OBDII, etc. cars. This is not a concern for my setup.
Thanks a ton for any help,
Ryan

P.S. I'm not a damned n00b. My account got destroyed somehow.

you cant.. I mean it maybe imposible because I dont think the safc hack can pull that much voltage over 10psi of boost .. If you are really shooting for that much boost, standalone is highly recommended. With all that stuff you put in the motor better off spending little more be safe than sorry. Plus you can change the timing by using the AEM and more...
I'm currently running the same exact thing. b18b safc/440cc and the darn thing cant work well more than 10psi. Just sold the safc, get more for new bottom end and AEM ems is on it way for 20psi..
GOod luck on boosting

the way you run more than 10 psi is to up the fuel pressure with an adjustable fpr used in conjunction with the afc. this way the engine is getting enough fuel and you can stay under 35% with the afc and not throw a code.

Re: (rextec)
I don't understand the notion of using a FMU in conjunction with the S-AFC. I ditched the FMU to use the S-AFC.
It wouldn't matter whether I had the FMU or not once I pass the stock MAP sensor's range - I'd get a CEL.
Thanks for the reply.

Anyone know anything about running a 3 bar with the S-AFC?
