3 bar map sensor question
Yea, i searched and got a link on how to do it, but being that my car its a cx and was automatic my map sensor colors are different then the one diagram on hondata since is for a b series and my car is a cx.. anyway i wired the sensor closest to the way they said but the car started then stalled..
http://www.hondata.com/tech3barmap.html
Wire Sensor Code B Series MY HARNESS COLORS
GND A Green/White green/blue
MAP signal B White white
5V C Yellow red yellow/green
Now my question is which ones go where according to my harness.. and yes process of a elimination is possible but im trying to do it right now and its 22 degrees out. thanks in advance

Take it easy man, this thread is only 20 minutes old. We don't just sit here with our thumbs up our butts waiting for new posts....people have other lives than H-T.com Rule of thumbs for the future: wait much longer than 20 minutes if it's urgent before bumping, say like a hour or so. If it's not urgent wait 12-24 hours. People will more than likely get back to you if you're patient.
To try and shed some light on your problem we need more information:
1.) Process of elimination is NOT something you want to do. You can fry your sensor if you wire it wrong.
2.) What are you tuning with? What ECU are you using and is it chipped for Hondata/Neptune, etc?

Re: 3 bar map sensor question (Dunc)
I wasnt trying to be a dick about the thanks for the help comment but..I think the problem maybe... im running a chipped p28 with crome.. but the chip was made for the use with a stock map sensor... but the wiring itself still is still different then what hondata is telling me.

No worries, I didn't think you were being a dick. The bolded ^^^ is the problem. You can't use the 3 bar sensor unless your chip is made with the intention to use a 3 bar (and vice versa). Get the chip reburned and then that should clear up your problem.

green/blue <--Ground
white <--MAP Signal
yellow/green <--5V
To double check you could look on http://www.pgmfi.org or wait for someone elses opinion. Or just use a voltmeter like the Hondata site describes.
