3 bar map sensor?? help!!

Default 3 bar map sensor?? help!!

ok, i have a 00 turbo civic si. i just finished getting sleeves, rods, pistons , and i just got the aem ems. i plan on boosting 22 psi and i hear i need a 3 bar map sensor? i dont know what to do. do i need one? where do i get one?? help me out guys. thanks

if u plan on running more then 11.2psi you need a 3bar map sensor from GM... if you do a search you will find the part number and a website you can purchase it from! i just ordered mine yesterday for my hondata

what happens if you boost more than 11.2 psi on stock map sensor?

Kyle @ KS Motorsports and Vapor (I think) @ Secret Services sells GM 3-bar map sensors too.

you should run the AEM 3.5 Bar looks like this... (on top of manifold)

Not to be a dick, you need either an education or a reputable shop to help you out. There are a lot of things you are going to need but you won't "hear" about. It's a corollary of Hanlon's Razor.

As far as the OBD1+ Honda MAP sensor reading boost past 10.6 psi, good luck. 11.2 psi, or the 11.3 psi figure Hyundaidata pulled out of their ***, doesn't fly.

Not sure it would work with Hondata though. Anyone tried it?

It would alter your pressure column headings somewhat. Nothing ten minutes with a calculator can't deduce.
