3/16" is perfect. You want to use a -3 stainless line for the feed.

43" that's enough for you to screw in the fitting to the turbo while the manifold/turbo is out before you bolt it in

I have the feed going from the firewall, to a tee on the firewall, then to the turbo. The part that goes from firewall to turbo is 48 inches
