Default 3" Vibrant catback

Vibrant is having a warehouse sale here in toronto, and I can pickup a new 3" system for a REALLY good price, but I was wondering how it sounds?

I don't really want it to be stupid loud, and I definatly don't want it to sound like a chain saw. If it sounds like *** I would rather spend the extra $ and get something different.

so, if you have any feedback.. let me know

thanks in advance

Any 3 inch straight through catback is going to be pretty loud.

I put the vibrant 3" exhaust on my teg when it was turbo and it was a big difference in sound compared with the canister a had. The vibrant exhaust is much quieter and sounds really good plus looks stock. You won't be disappointed with it. I didn't buy a complete exhaust. I just bought the muffler and had a local shop do the piping.

I have a vibrant on my eg now. I had it on my ek with a turbo b18b and it sounded like pure sex. It was def not a quiet exhaust, but there was no hint of a ricer sound at all. I then put it on my eg with a turbo sohc, and it sounded great. I never used a resinator nor cat on either car BTW.

I now removed the sohc and have a stock b18a with no cat nor resinator either, its the only exhaust I have for the time being. Its loud as expletive...but then again who the hell puts a 3'' exhaust on a NA motor? Im keeping it, for the price it sounds sick and i never had a issue in the 2 years and 3 diff setups with it.
