Default 3" downpipe question with pics

The welder jacked up 2.25" dp, he was supposed to shorten it 1.75" and didnt tig it back strait. So I'm upgrading it. I found this on ebay, I know ebay stuff is cheaply made I'm just trying to save some money in a pinch and I dont want stainless because I cant weld it my miller mig, gas isnt hooked up.

Do I have to weld the bell slip piece?

Do you think this would work on a 93 civic coupe with a b18a1 swap?

Does this elimate my cat? I noticed a 3 bolt flange instead of the 2 bolt. My car is in a poedunk state were there is no emissons.

Thanks for your patience and time.

My Old DP that didnt fit, neck was too long. It didnt tuck under the pan and dragged.

The only way you will know is to put it on and find out for yourself. My guess is it won't fit too well unless you are running the manifold it is designed for.

agreed

every 1 degree you're off on the flange. within a 12 inch length of tubing is +- 1-2 inches ... soo think bout how mcuh room is under your pan to the floor .. rougly a 2 inch dropped car will have what .. 5..6 inches of space between the TOP TOP TOP of the pan and the floor. say its off by 3 degrees . which would be rather easy .. youll ahve a downpipe dragging on the floor . enjoy !

you might be able to just avoid it and be done with it... sometimes thats better then not wanting it and paying for it... cause he could sell it again

both of those dp's you showed are made by ss auto ****. i live 20 mins from where they are they peddle that **** allover here. they sellem on ebay under various names and distributors. the best thing you can do is buy mandrel exhaust sections, and flanges, and go to an exhaust shop. you prolly will never find a bolt on dp, because every setup is different. and turbo exhaust housings are different. not trying to be rude, just want to save you time and trouble.
