240 WHP?
Unfortunetly the tuner played with my car for about a day then did some pulls and at most it's running 240whp...? Does this setup sound like a 240whp setup? To me with a 11 psi spring it should be atleast 270+ but that's my guess. Let me hear what your thinking.
EDIT! I forgot I'm sorry a big peice of the info was he was only revving to 6500 rpms.. if he went all the way would it bump it up? Also was running in 95 Degree weather at 4500 ft.

It is what it is!!! If the tuner is reputable, your air-fuel/timing is in the ball park, then you should start looking at your set-up. Cheapo turbo? Leaks? Mechanical timing? What EMS are you running?
Need more info.....
Need more info.....
haha thats a good write up...my friends del sol made 434whp on a dynapack and then made 327 on a mustang dyno...still ran an 11.7@120mph on a horrible day to go to the track...
i made 308 whp on 10 psi with my 100% stock B16 with headstuds and cometic's "turbo " headgasket the thick one, which according to the calculator put my compression at 9.5:1 on a 60 trim with a inline pro cast mani . id say your numbers are low.

Interesting.. I have no idea... I should prob do a leakdown test and see what that shows.
And log manifold for now is my only choice, it gets hot here in Arizona and I'm not one that wants to be driving around in 110 degree weather with no a/c. I know there are ram horns a/c compatiable, but dumping 500 - 700 dollars doesn't sound reasonable.
I know for a fact this manifold can easily push 300 and up near 400 hp, but I have to do some more tests to see if my motor is first of all running at it's best.

in my opinion hes making such low number's due to the tiny 2.5 inch downpipe and exhaust hes running . a 3 inch downpipe and exhaust with a str8 thru muffler makes a huge difference on a turbo honda going from my 2.5 to my inline 3 inch made a big difference my first test if i was you would be try open downpipe see if that wakens the car up a bit . if so you know you need to go 3 inch
I was told by some I need to upgrade from stock tb / intake mani... mabye I should go out and buy a victor x ..
I agree 2.5" is small, but shouldn't be holding me back from 270 I mean..

2.5 is small yeah, and there is definently power to be gained from a 3in system.
The intake mani and tb would also net some nice power.
How agressive is your tune? ignition timing may be waay conservative due to poor pump gas and high air temps, as well as a cautious tuner. That would be my best guess really.
if you have the money throw some parts at it
also what size is your charge piping?
ooo and grab up some GSR cams, they are a bit better than b16ers for boost

Skip these two items and go for the better exhaust. It is only a number, after all. Do you enjoy it? does it put you back into your seat? If the answer is yes, then quit worrying about the DYNO number and enjoy the car.
why was the tuner only revving your engine to 6500rpm? sounds to me like there's something not right. what EMS are you tuned on? injectors? etc....... help us help you!!!!!
i think if you reved to 8500 i think you will be in the 290 - 320hp area so is that an ok number for you.. and i thought 550cc injectors could handle up to 300hp if not more...
20whp per 1000 rmps above 6k is not unreasonable to expect out of that car and i wouldn't be shocked if it made more then that!!!
i bet it pulls like a bitch up to 6500.. look where simlar setups that make 240who at 6500rmps top out at and that should tell you where you are at..
and i went to 2 dynos and got the same number 217whp at 7k (my car is supercharged and i had to find a good tuner to get any power out of it past 7k so i had to have it dyno'ed 3 times for some one to get it right) then at the 3rd dyno i made 187 at 7k, on the last run of the 3rd dyno trip i made 232whp at 8300rpm's i have not been in a 232hp car like mine yet to compare mine to but i'm beating mustangs that 400hp and should be running high 12's to low 13's
the point is the dyno is just a tool...

Yea okay.. I bet because we told him it was a whole new motor, on a whole new EMS, with a whole new turbo kit strapped on it he was taking it easy for the first couple runs.. possibly just to get the rings seated... Not sure, I will tell him to amp it up a bit now.
And no it's in Prescott.
And no it's in Prescott.
If you look at my build I put quite a lot into my motor and only squeezed 230whp on 10lbs. I'm running a cast manifold with some bends in my exhaust. My tuner told me the manifold is prob restricting my airflow. I did some reading and just bought a top mount so it should free up some flow. I'd def go for a 3 inch downpipe and exhaust too.
Well you NEED to find out why it's only revving to 6500.... That is obviously the issue, that sounds like a check engine limp mode, unless the tuner is doing that for whatever reason. After the first boost pull your rings are seated. Find out about why it's not revving out, and when it does it should go to about 300 or more depending on how aggressive the tune is. I had the same turbo on 13 psi I made 346 on a stock ls motor revving to 7500. Your car isn't even getting a chance to rev out in vtec, it's just starting to wake up. B16's are fund badass motors to turbo, everyone we did that was stock ran like a freak. Go put 3" d/p on the car and rev it out, you'll be amazed @ what it does!!!
I've also made well over 500whp with a stock intake manifold/TB. NOT the problem.

HELLO!! you have at least 2000 more rpm to make power. the dyno should have atmospheric correction so the elevation shouldn't matter. but, it is something to ask him.
In the end you track mph will tell the story.
he's only revving to 6500 lol theres your problem your not revving out to 82-8500 like you should be. B16+turbo+equals a top end motor . rev that **** out to 8500 and i bet you at the 300+ mark.
