Don't think that dinky BOV is doing its job. You can actually see the compressor surge. Yikes.

I'm sure those turbos are designed to handle it...i've seen a S372 in person and the shaft is as big as my finger. Hey Dan, what BW turbos are those?? I heard the guy say 80mm turb's or something along those lines...
...i wonder if Hasport has mounts to put that engine into an EF

Those were 2 S480's in action and the BOV was doing its job you could not hear any fluttering coming out of the compressor inlet. I would say that the BOV was close to being maxed out.
Did you catch him saying the tourque was a bit much for the dyno and he had to do the pulls from 6k up?

Twin carbs for a blow-thru aren't really necesary, hell, you don't even need to go bigger than a 900 aerosol unless you're running methanol. Obviously the carb isn't going to be a restriction if those turbos can only make 27 psi before they start to drop off.

At 2100 hp the carb had a 6 psi drop from hat to the bottom of the carb. Steve is going to keep going up in carb until the pressure drop is close to zero. After that she gets twin 91mm's for some big power.

Steve is measuring the boost after the carb in the plenum, that is where it is loosing pressure, so the data is saying the carb is the restriction.

I have a 3000+ pull poping head gaskets and making a huge mess in the dyno room. It is still on the camera. I will get it up after the holidays.
