Default Honda BOV

may be stupid question, but how come Honda BOV arn't as loud as Mitsu or Subaru or other cars BOV.?

i mean BOV on Honda Motors arn't as loud as BOV on ther vehicles.

use their bov's and boost 14-16lbs and tell me how loud it is? most guys i know who use their bov's dont boost that much on a daily basis...

well, my brother owns turbocharged integra type r, and he's pushing 432whp on 14psi. his cars a lot faster then a lot of cars out there, but his BOV isn't as loud as my buddies EVO. i guess it might just be in my head.

yeah i know the honda city and also there was another that was turbo in the late 80's early 90's but i really can't remember the model, and then theres the watercraft but i seriously doubt that there turbo autos came with bov

Common sense should tell you that the car manufacturer has little to do with the volume/sound of a BOV.

more like the size of turbo. size of motor as nothing to do at all with it. the more the PSI the louder the BOV. subarus have idle blow off because of their small turbo+2.4?L displacement(which allows it to spool the turbo quickly).
