2000 Turbo Si Problem!!!
I have a Turbo setup on my 2000 Si, and I am running the Greddy E-manage. My car is only running 7.25 PSI, but I am getting a bunch of weird Check Engine Lights.
1) P1128 MAP voltage lower than expected
What the heck does this mean? I was running the BLOX MAP bypass valve, and this created this CEL. After I took the MAP Bypass off and cleared the ECU, the CEL went away. What does this CEL actually mean? And how would I fix/correct this on the E-manage?
2) I am also having trouble figuring out the VTEC setting on the E-manage. If someone could help explain this, it would be greatly appreciated.
3) My first CEL's was about the car running to rich.
CEL: Fuel trim too Rich
MY A/F ratio i believe is set at about 12.4 rite now throughout the powerband. Why would my stock ECU think that it is TOO rich?
Any help diagnosing these problems would be great. Thanks!
-Jeff

I'm not familiar with e-manage, but the Greddy system usually has their systems setup as a piggyback. Make sure your wires are SOLDERed onto the stock wires correctly. The e-manage should "trick" the stock ECU into not seeing any pressure above 0, otherwise it will throw the CEL.
You could always take your car to a reputable place and make sure all the wiring is done correctly and they can even tune your car for your since it is slightly programmable, per se.

If you seeing 12.4 afr then you ecu is definitely gonna think your running rich.
I think the emanage is hooked up wrong or has a bad connection if your getting a MAP CEL. I thought you weren't supposed to run a missing link with the emanage??? Are you running an FMU? The emanage is telling the ECU what the MAP voltage is, not the actual map sensor.

MAP lower than expected. 1 make sure the blox valve is working and installed properly, it allows the MAP to see vacuum not boost so put the valve in your mouth and suck and blow on it (hehehe) see if it holds pressure but not vacuum etc...........
Rich code= your manually putting more fuel in than the computer is controlling it wants set amount to go in and its getting more therefore it sets a rich code. and honda not gonna run it a 12.4 from the factory that why it thinks its too rich it dosent know you added a turbo and you think its ok. the computer knows what it was programmed to know and you changed it so it is gonna cause codes.

get a different ems. the e-manage is crap. 3 days after i bought my greddy kit, i sold it and bought a hondata s200, couldnt be happier. otherwise, greddy can kinda walk you through setting up certain things if you call them, but even they have problems with it sometimes when you talk to them

That depends on the load.
12.5 is a good ball park figure in boost
