Default OEM Headgasket for LS/VTEC or no?

Do I need to purchase a metal head gasket for my ls/vtec or can I go with an OEM one?

Also I gotta buy the non vtec gasket right?

yeah you can use an OEM LS head gasket. Are you all motor or turbo? If you're turbo i'd suggest getting a thicker head gasket, I believe cometic makes some, makes compression a little bit lower.

A lot of people I know use OEM and don't have any problems, even with really high compression motors. I even know people who layer OEM gaskets due to the high compression and make over 260 whp.
