I understand what basic info you might need, but it's a long, hard answer to your question. You would get a better response if your ? were more specific to a particular topic. Do some more reading in the FI forum archives then ask questions.

Mitsubishi turbos (eclipse, starion, talon, hyundai scoupe...greddys are the same) are good, small, quick spooling turbos. They run out of breath at about 14+ psi and don't create massive power levels for such high boost. They are cheap, small and abundant

T3's like the ones found on T-bird coupes are larger, decent spool, more power per psi, I think they run out at about 18-20, but not definite. They are not as easily found as the mitsu's

Those are prolly the two main ones you would find readily.

The manifold that the turbo bolts to needs to match the turbo size, then you can't really change the turbo to a diff model becuz the manifold is sized to it. Manifold design is important to performance as well as turbo location and piping options.

Intercoolers can be found at junkyards for a decnt price too. I run an IC from a Starion, one of the better priced used ICs and good to about 12-13 psi on avg. You can also use ICs from other stock turbo'd cars and trucks for decent prices. Piping for you will prolly need to be custom, unless you find someone selling for your car. BOV and Wastegate ? I would say get new units.

Read up on fuel mgt, it will be the life or death of your car, period.

Oh, btw, don't just take anyone's word for it... get multiple opinions and try to make friends with someone else in your area that is turbo.

should of searched!!!

For a regular Si motor i would guess a t3 thunderbird/ ford 2.3l turbo. Mitsu eclipse td05 14/16G turbo. Starrion intercooler. Things like that.

Or you can do a T66 or bigger lol.

I have a t3 airreasearch turbo for sale. its mint and would be good for your setup. $350
