14b adapter plate question
hey h-t. i have a greddy log manifold on my d16 right now attached to gt2860rs. the turbo blew and i have a 14b turbo. what kind of adapter plate would i need to use from the greddy manifold to the 14b turbo? a t25 to 14b adapter plate? kinda confused about this one. help appreciated as always!
edit: if i get a hf manifold would it be easier? what kind of flange would that be, t3 to 14b adapter?

none. the 14b is a radius flange, and the GT2860RS is a T25 flange. They are completely opposite. Get another turbocharger that isn't from the junkyard.

thats gonna be a huge drop in power, etc. not to mention you're gonna need a massive re-tune and you're gonna have to re-do your intercooler piping and downpipe, oil feed and return... but if youre dead set... you're gonna have to have a custom adapter made as the only one readily available is a t3-14b
they do make an hf-14b adapter. but the whole setup just looks ghetto

im only running 10lbs on a stock engine with the gt2860rs and the lag is annoying as ****. full spool at 5k isnt cool cause im doing alot of city driving and would rather have the low end power now. thanks for that site for the adapter plate, im gonna get that. as for the downpipe, yeah im not to thrilled about it but ill have to do something. as far as my intercooler and piping, it shouldnt be a problem, ill just add a few more bends to bud up completely to it, think itll work? haha. i hope.

10psi on a 14b is less than most NA cars with almost stock compression, but this is a d-series after all, so I suppose any use of FI is a good one. GL
Just get an adapter made. One end has the 14b flange and the other with the T3 flange that way you can always take the adapter off and use the regular t3 flange when you get back a decent T3 Turbo.

You are retarded... Read my posts. And he doesn't have a t3 flanged manifold. It's t25 flanged and from the sounds of it he's running an edelbrock kit.
boost i stated in myt top post that it was a greddy manifold, no kit. as the guy replied in the 3rd post, he stated that it was a radius flange which means its not t25 or i woulda just bolted up the turbo to my pre existing manifold....
