Depending on which GT28 it is, it could either have a T25 or T3 foot. It wont be a mitsubishi foot for sure
The GT2560R and GT2854R (both are "GT28R"s) are definitely T25 footed, the 2860RS (GT28RS or disco potato) can be either and the GT2871R is most likely going to be T3 footed (IIRC you can get it with a T25 foot, but I dont know why you would).

It sounds like u have a gt28r not disco potato. The gt28r has a T25 flange as opposed to a t3 flange. You can get a adapter plate so the turbo will bolt directly up to the manifold..

Well a 15 g turbo has a T25 flange so the manifold has to have a t25 flange. So I'm 99%sure you can use a gt28r with a greddy manifold. A greddy manifold flows like ****......
