110 Octane AV Gas Question?
I have a 2000 Turbocharged Civic SI, some of you might know me but anyway... I was thinking of putting 110 Octane(LEADED) for the track this weekend. My buddy puts it all the time in his Mustang, I don't have CATS so its ok on that part. What precautions do I need to take if any? Does it run hotter, do I need to advance my timing? Thanks for your help!

Re: 110 Octane AV Gas Question? (wicked4u2c)
we run vp c-12 (108 leaded) with no problems. just pour in and go. maybe up the timing about 1-2 degrees. see u this weekend
[edited] oops i posted unleaded earlier when c12 is actually leaded. fyi
leaded will eventually kill your o2 and/or cat. track use only

Re: 110 Octane AV Gas Question? (88CRXHybrid)
if you have an oxygen sensor bunged into your downpipe, i would recommend removing the o2 sensor and plugging it up with a standard manifold plug or you can buy a large spark plug from an early 70's chevy and screwing that on to the bung. as for the o2 sensor, after you remove it, secure it somewhere you find suitable with a ziptie.
