is it safe to run 100 octain all the time on a fully buit motor.
what precasions should i take and will there be any long term effects.
i will run say 14 psi 10 on streets.
will a safe gard be benifital still if i run this high of a octain.
will this cure detination and be helpful for a high hp streetcar.

running 100 octane on the street is expensive. Not highly recommend. The good benefits for 100 octane is that you can run agressive timing and run right on the edge safely. I would rather just detune the car and run 93 octance.

 

for the money you'll be spending on 100 octane, you could go significantly faster by putting that money into the motor.

 

I run C-16 on the street all the time. But I drive occasionally.
