10 psi
Just a quick question regarding different turbos. How does, let's say, 10 psi on a t3 compare to that of 10 psi on a t4? I know that the t4 will have more volume, and will be able to generate more power, but how does it fend on the engine? Will 10psi from a t3 have the same effects on how hard it works the engine as 10 psi on from a t4?
I ask this, cuz my current turbo is a t3 and I've had it go as high as 15 psi for like 1 second, but what I want to know is if it is the same as a 15 psi on a t4? I've seen people blow their engines from only 6 or 7 psi and mine is going as high as 11-15! Any help would be awsome.

15psi on a t4 will produce more power then the t3 will at the same psi. If you produce more power, your engine will work harder. please dont tell me you are running around on 15psi on a stock H series motor.
no no, I'm running around 7-10 in the first few gears, but I'm also running an internal wastegate on my t3, and also have it shimmed so I can get it to 7 psi. Originally, I was only seeing about 4 psi, so I shimmed it and in the first 3 gears, I get anywhere from 7-10 but once I hit 4th and 5th, if I continue to mash on the pedal and floor it, I can easily hit 15, so that's why I'm wondering.
But I'm not sure if I had my question answered, I know that the t3/t4 will give more power, but will it put more of a strain on the engine than a t3? Is 15 psi the same as 15 psi in terms of pressure on the internals of the engine or is it just a weaker 15 psi?

Well in this case, power = strain. The more power you are making, the more stress the engine has to deal with. Since a T4 will push way more air into your motor at 15psi than a T3 will...pound for pound, you will be putting more stress on the engine.
