1/8" nipples for APEXi AVC-R solenoid
Does anyone know what thread pitch they are? It's not 1/8" NPT. I think it might be 1/8" BSP but I can't find anything around me to verify this.

Re: 1/8" nipples for APEXi AVC-R solenoid (dragline)
i honestly think that there are two different selenoids. When i bought all my SS vacuum lines, everyone told me that the AVCR was 1/8th NPT. yet when you go to thread in 1/8 NPT you quickly find out that it is not the correct size.
I have no clue on the size. I called Apex'i USA and they didn't even know. my car is down, so i'll probably just tap the dman thing to make it work, i just fear for metal shavings...

Yup a 1/8 NPT tap should be fine even for BSPT. It is probably NPT just the taper isn't large enough at the start of the threads.

My AVC-R is the 1st gen. Old, old, old style. It's deffinately BSP because I found a fitting that had those threads and it fit perfect. I still can't find the correct nipples though so I guess I'll tap it and see what happens. Stupid me forgot I just bought a tap and die set
BTW, I got the same response when I called Apexi. They told me they would have to email japan and would call me back. I even gave them my toll free number so it wouldn't cost them anything. No return call in three days. I guess japanese email is slower than ours? lol
To date, I've NEVER gotten any customer service from Apexi. One of the main reason I never buy their products. This boost controller was a freebie or I wouldn't even use it.

got the same problem right now. But I think I´ll try to use the BSP fittings. I´ve got a newer solenoid which came with a black edition controller.
