~11:1+100shot+race gas = how much timing retard???
I want to build another d16z6, this time a built 11:1 z6 w/ forged rods, pistons, ported head crower3 cam, etc.
I would also like to spray ~100shot at the track and will only use race gas when spraying.
how much timing should I pull when spraying and race gas?
I will be running the bkr7e (2steps colder) plugs, would I have to get colder ones?
p.s. by race gas I mean c16.

With C16 you could most likely run full timing, but if that scares you, I would only back it off by 2*. #7's are what you want.

the dyno, plugs, knock sensor and your ears will tell you exactly how much timing to pull.
keep in mind that bottle pressure is your boost controller. tune on a fresh bottle and use a bottle heater to keep pressure consistent.

Just to be safe start with 2' timing per 50hp, and then back off from there. just read the plugs and keep the pressure consistent (950-1000 psi) the bottle pressure will decrease as you go down the track, which will help with the tune up, ( not let you to go lean). If your engine is built for spray you should not have a problem with that tune. What engine management are you running? what is your fuel system like?
