speed pro
previously ran 10.58@139 on less power

Nice job Andy...
Keep them coming... Hopefully the car can go low 10s this time...
People in NorCal, this is who to come to for reliable tuning...

the car has a weak ignition system (msd6al). past 9000 it seems to break up. i think i should gap the plug even lower. right now they are at .025. my friend who owns the car didn't believe that some people making big hp actually go .020.

Re: (DUB20VT)
specs are
2.0 84 mm
custom jg cams
jg intake manifold
1000cc injector
sc63 turbo
msd 6al ignition with external coil
c16 gas
the turbo is pretty much tapped. but the tune is conservative a/f and ignition timing wise. it can probably pick up another 10-15 hp. cam gears are still at 0 due to one of the JG gears refusing to move.
plugs were checked periodically, and they were always clean.
tip anyone out there looking to make big power, don't be afraid to turn the boost up. provided that your motor is built right and you have enough fuel it's not a problem.

Re: (2000civicsi)
at one point the turbo was doing 27 psi but a little under half way thru it goes to 29 psi as indicated by the 3 bar map on the speed pro. it rides along the 2nd to the highest row. the highest row is 314 kpa.
its running an old skool revhard short weld el manifold with hks wastegate. it has less than optimal wastegate placement and creeped pretty bad at lower boost levels.
don't know if you guys have read any of rod short from precision regarding the sc63. he says it is alot like the sc61, but less efficient. the one thing about the sc63 is that it is a big shaft turbo and is built for elevated boost levels (high pressure).

Re: *NorCal Tuning Rcrew 500+ whp* (SEFIxCivic)
in the past i have had some people say some negative comments about this setup and powerband (when it was at 511whp), but in has proved itself on the track. 10.58 @ 139 mph, which is a quicker than some swfd combinations i've worked with pushing 700+ whp.
and its not like the car is a feather weight. it is a del sol w/ full safety equipment weighing 2400 lbs. the owner of the car is a phenominal driver and has been drag racing for 10 years or so. in fact, he owns a Wally
