Cool, I know what a surge tank is for but know jack **** about how they work or installing them. That's going to be external to the tank right?
Didn't you have a hellcat pump?
In other fuel news but not related to FI Honda, a few weeks ago I put a new fuel pump and tank into the Mustang. Have gotten done with a lot of needed maintenance items on it and is finally running great. Compression tested the old 302 and basically 160 across the board, great candidate for heads and cam.
(No the Mustang is not what was holding me up on the Civic, should finally be working on a couple small items this weekend)

The main tank is now going to have a 255 pump feeding the surge tank. The surge tank feeds the fuel rail. The fuel returns now to the surge tank. The surge tank has an overflow that will route back to the main fuel tank.
This will allow me to run the main tank very close to empty. Right now anything below half tank and the pump cavitate under hard turning

I remember you mentioning that problem several months ago. Did you ever try that Hydromat thing or whatever? If I recall you weren't entirely sold on it.
Re: **OFFICIAL FORCED INDUCTION RANDOM CHAT THREAD**
I was originally going to use the stock -6 line for the return but decided to just redo it all up to the firewall with 3/8 alum tubing since its so cheap.
The surge tank has stainless tubing but was expensive at 6 bucks a foot. A roll of 30ft aluminum tubing was 25 bucks.
I got a little more done today. Removed the rubber hose on the return from the flex sensor and i added in an adapter to a -6. I got the fittings on the fuel rail setup. Im going to have the engine bay lines made last with proper compression fittings and nut push lock/twist hose. I should get the clamps for my fuel filter tomorrow and i can mount that and then just bend up the line under the car. I re routed the stock lines from the main tank to the surge but im going to redo them. I can do better.

Heres a pic of the fuel filter i was using. They say more surface area the better. This filters down to 7 micron
Its a 2” body. Kind of a pain to find a place for it.

Any plans to relocate your screen into the dash? Do you still need the gauge cluster at this point?
is there crash protection around my gas tank? Ill most likely add a plate surrounding it just to the quarter panel in case it leaks but it shouldnt ever leak for no reason.
Ive been debating the screen in the dash but not sure how good the visability will be with the steering wheel in front of it. Plus I already spent 100 dollars on the damn windshield mount.
At this point its only for diagnostics and my lap times. I have it mostly showing my lap times when im out on the track. I rarely look at my rpm or speed.

Without watchin it with my surround sound on, idle sounds about the same. When you rev it a bit, it definitely sounds cleaner. Not as raspy. Which is likely from the resonator
