They look like a well used 9-1, 81 or 81.5mm piston.

the motor was built by KG a few years back and was running overly rich. But the miles on the piston it self was very little..

Hmm.... well used.

So honestly are they worth 100 bucks?

If not, let me know..

Thanks!

if they measure out to be good then i would say 100 bucks is a good price.........put some new rings on them and be good to go.......just because there is carbon build up on the piston tops that does not mean they are "well used"

take a good look at the skirts.......from the first pic that one skirt looks pretty good.......what do the rest look like?

They are 81mm, 9-1 B-series pistons. I have 3 left over I just looked at.

Those will be right around 8:1 compression if you have a B16.

Get em cleaned up and use em.

$100 is good deal, but I would never use used pistons. I always question why people are selling them...

the extra $300 for new pistons seems like cheap insurance to me... but I guess I do have the Honda-Tech Jet and all

again; 3500mi on my used pistons

buying used is fine if you're not an idiot and know your not getting junk. and sometimes; like in this guys case; they're so cheap that you almost cannot pass up that kinda deal.

as long as the skirts are ok and there isn't damage to the tops from detonation i say go for it
