A whats up guys i need help. I have $1600 and i want to go with a turbo setup but dont know what to do. I am new to the turbo seen and know a lil bit about them so i was thinking about going with a sohc greddy kit for my z6 and beening able to learn from it to.

But i'm hearing you guy talk about custom kits and how you can get a decent amount of power out of them.But with custom kits its all about tunning and fuel management and having a good comp to run it.

O.k here's what i got so far.

d16z6 obd-0 but i mite convert over to obd-1 because of the better support.

Here's what i need.

manifold? there's so many?
turbo? which is a good one for my z6?
wastegate? tial 35?
piping?
d.n. pipe?

O.k here's the big one Engine Management, whats out there?

P.s i have more money if really needed, And what about swaping the kit over to my b16a if i wanted?

if you are a beginner the greddy kit isnt a bad idea. in a year you will definitely want to upgrade it though.
