vtec crossover too high??

Default vtec crossover too high??

hi just looking for opinions,i bought a ek sedan with a semi built b16 tuned on crome.
skunk2 valve train.
ls tranny.

vtec engages around 7k is this too high??
pulls hard and vtec cracks loud but i feel like i could benifet from a lower crossover what do you guys think?

What kind of cams? 7k is insanely high.

big cams on a b16 usualy make more power with vtec around 6800...so i might loose power if it was tuned with those cams

You didn't tell us a lot about the situation or the engine setup...

What is the entire engine setup?
Was the car dyno tuned?
If not... you are really "guessing" as to where the "best" activation point is.
