VSS eror code s300
Im getting a VSS error code. The code doesnt pop up right away but, it pops up while im driving and come in within 5 mins. But the speedo still works fine. It also act weird while im driving, it give a lilttle studder and and when i give it just a tad bit more gas it GOES. This is all happening while the VSS error code it on. what can it be?
You have an s300. Datalog to make sure the VSS is reading correctly. If it's not, you have a problem between the VSS and the ECU. The speedo is separate from the ECU and the only thing that tells you is that the VSS sensor itself is probably fine.
Well i think i got it figured out Tire pressure was way low 25psi and with my LSD diff i think its why it throw a cel. So inflated tires and no more code.

I agree. Datalog in s300 to make sure you are getting a constant speed signal to the ecu.

well i was wrong!.....rare that that ever happens lol. When i data log the VSS in Smanger was reading any speed, so the check engine light stil came on/ It was actually the VSS wire in the obd2 to obd1 converter had snap off so i pined it back in and now it works fine.
