VAFCs worth it?

No the other guy does....I've had the same one in a box for forever...so I installed it cuz I was bored....I basically use it as a monitoring system for the battery.

lol, there's always a point not to cross in a conversation. I believe the boner comment hit that line

Let me get this straight..you're going to buy a fuel controller so you can run vtec? Since you're on OBD0, wouldn't it be more cost efficient to get a ZC ECU? Even a z6 ecu and conversion harness wouldn't be as much as a VAFC and you wouldn't have to reset it every week.

True.
OP, here's what you do. First, get an ECU case. Next, fill it with ham and plug it in. While your car may not run, it will be filled by the delightful scent of ham..which is a win in my book

I think I might have replied to your post, but my comment was geared towards the OP.
OP: if you're getting a VAFC so you look "cool" and you just want to move your VTEC around for no apparent reason then...
Do you even have any mods to warrant such a change? A VAFC is a tuning device used to adjust the air/fuel ratio along with adjusting the VTEC engagement. Although, I suppose if you were really concerned with actually tuning the car and not just being a cool kid with a flashy toy you'd be asking about Chrome, Uberdata, or if you had the money, Hondata.
