Using obd2 reader with chrome and obd1 conversion?
I was considering picking up an elm327 and using it with some apps like dash command, more for fun than anything.
One of the cars I wanted to use it with is a 1996 civic with a b16 swap running crome and a obd2a to obd1 jumper harness to the ecu.
Will the elm327 and dash command work with this setup? I’m not sure if the elm unit takes its reading directly from the sensors, or after the ecu.
Thanks!

The OBD2 port doesn't work once you convert to an OBD1 ecu (jumper harness or not), I believe AEM stand alone can still use the OBD2 port, but it doesn't read emissions monitors, so I don't even know if that would work for you are wanting too do. I know Hondata S300 v3 allows for Bluetooth connectivity.
Unless something has changed recently and crome allows this feature, I don't think you will be able to do what you want with the elm327.
