Default using B5 connection with s300

i just got off the phone with hondata telling them about my issue with the system not utilizing my high boost option. since i have a toggle switch installed to initiate from low boost to high boost, the guy told me i have to cut the original connection therefore the hondata system can go from low to high boost. as of right now when i turn the toggle switch to on the a/c fan switch light turns on in smanage and my fan turns on. the hondata tech guy said thats not suppose to happen if its wired correctly.

does that mean i need to cut the wire from the ecu instead therefore my fan doesnt turn on?

in other words

the B5 connection shouldnt be wired back into the car just the toggle and the ecu...

if youre using that pin to activate your high boost, then yes. Dont use it anymore with the original function on B5. put a toggle ground on B5.

though i think it should still work, but maybe there is load check on s300. ive used it lots of times but its always dedicated function.

from the text help of smngr...

AC Switch
Activates when grounded. Normal function is to idle the engine up and delay the AC clutch when activated. Can only be used when you do not have AC. Note that if you want to use the AC Switch itself, then you need to alter the vehicle wiring to ground the other side of the AC Switch.
