tps problems
whats up i have a set of jenvey itb's that i am trying to tune with crome with itb tools. the tps that came with them requires you to swap the green and yellow wires around so it reads correctly.
well my problem starts when i swap the wires, the car will start and idle like a champ but when i go to rev it up at 1500rpm it hits a fuel cut and wants to die, with it wired up like this the tps reads correctly on the comp. when you try to run the car on just tps it won't start without your foot on the gas.
so i figured what the hell i'll run it on just map so i build a vacume can and run line to each runner on the itb's and mount a map sensor on it like everyone else does for tip in fuel adjustments. i try this and still get the same fuel cut so i change the wires back like they would be from the factory on the tps. this takes care of the fuel cut problem but we couldn't adjust tip in fuel because of the tps reading backwards all the time.
i'm running out of ideas and was lookiing for any usefull info on how to take care of the problem. i know this sounds like a fluster cluck but i'm anooyed with it
