Spark Plug reading
changed my plugs and put new ones, after 3 days i checked them. and i found this.
are they any good? any feedbacks would be appreciated! thanks.
Plug A
seems half of insulator tip is darker than the other side.

Plug B
dont know if its just dirt on the insulator tip.

are they any good? any feedbacks would be appreciated! thanks.
EDIT:
after a couple of miles, maybe 150kms, heres what they look like.

why is it that a portion of it is black and the rest is tan/brown? could too much timing cause it to be black? i guess its not lean anymore, the earlier pics i posted were just driven for i guess 30 kms.

They look fine but i wouldn't have guessed they only had 3 days on them. B looks like it just has some carbon spots on it. The first one looks like its been burning up on the one side. Idk just my 2 cents, might want to get some advice from someone who has more experience with this kinda thing. What kind of motor are they in and is it modded at all.
Looking at where the color changes on the ground strap they look like they might be running a bit on the hot side.
What heat rating are these plugs? (Plug part number?)

GhostAccord,
its a NGK bkr6e-11.
nonvtecallmotor,
after a couple of miles, the plugs seem to be brown colored on one side, and the other side, black, as shown on PLUG A. it should be brown all over the porcelain thing right?
i dont hear any pinging or detonation though.
ill try reducing the ignition timing.

looks to me like its too lean and too much timing...
what is your motor setup? and also usually black spots like that could possibly be carbon buildup but after 3 days i dont think so that usually is signs of detonation
my plugs after tuning a car are usually a light brownish color not white...
i would get a wideband check your fuel pull some timing or switch to a step colder plug but again depends on your setup
edit, also get a hacksaw and cut the very bottom of the plug, where the threads end closest to the base of the plug completely off but leave the insulator, also a good way to check how thick the fuel band is helps make sure its not running too lean

what is your setup? what is your compression?
my friend has an ls all motor with ctr pistons and i told him to get ngk bkr7 and his plugs look nothing like yours they look normal but i also made a 5 layer headgasket for him because his compression was going to be in the high 12's lol but my guess is around 12.3 now but there is no black spots on his plugs or anything...
who tuned your car? could be too lean too much timing running too hot cylinder temps like i said you might need to get a colder plug but i would need to know your setup before telling you to do that

How do you know if the engine is rich/lean and that the timing is off? I know it has something to do with the location of that "band" on the ground strap but nothing more than that.
