Default single cam boost

i have a stock z6 80xxxx original miles. Its my first build and i didnt wanna go big so i went home. LOL joking. Anyways, my super basic homemade turbo setup consist of a wrx turbo ( super small, yes i know!!! ) ebay intercooler, DSM 450's w/ resister box and an AEM FPR.I already have a chipped and socketed P28 with a basemap from intec racing in kent,wa. My question is, for tuning what exactly should i get? ill be upgrading to a t3/t4 later down the road when i can afford better quality parts. When i bring my car in to get tuned do i get charged for a tuning software and the dyno tune? thats what im really confused about.. And if so, what program would best suit my basic build?

Ask the person that will be doing the actual tuning what they are proficient with and get that. Hondata seems the most popular but my choice would be Neptune.

As stated above, contact who you are having tune the car. More than likely if you have a standard chipped ECU, they will use Crome in which case you will only need to pay for the tuning time and any other problems/troubleshooting that they may or may not have to do.

However, I would recommend looking into upgrading to either Hondata S300 or Neptune as it is MUCH better software and will save you a lot of headaches down the road. But as stated, contact your tuner first to find out what they recommend.

I've actually read a lot about NEPTUNE RPT or something correct me if I'm wrong. But I'm not sure I'm ready to dish out 300+ dollars to tune my homemadeturbo setup lol I guess ill ask my tuner although it is kinda hard to get a hold of dave lee cus I want my **** LEED TUNED! Lol thanks guys for your positive feedback! Much appreciated. Anytime tips you guys wanna give me before I take mt car in to get tuned? I know to check for code so the tuner doesn't have any problems but other than that is there anything else?

Spend the money now or spend a LOT of money later. The tune is absolutely THE most important part of any turbo install. Don't count on any sort of reliability if you skimp out on one.

For $399, you will NOT find a better tuning system than the Neptune/ Demon setup.
