s300 Vss Issue.

My ecu isn't showing a value for the vss, although my speedo is working fine. I replaced the vss during my engine build since it was messed up before. what could be the problem?

What chassis? What's the setup? Tranny is cable or hydro?

Dc2, ls turbo, built bottom end, hydro tranny.

Probably a wiring problem. The VSS signal splits and goes to the dash and the ECU. The ECU is not getting a signal.

Ok, so i should just follow the wiring and looks for a problem?
I need to take it to get tuned, but i cant get tuned for boost by gear if my ecu isn't getting a vss signal lol.
