s300, code 20 after loading p74 rom
So i'e received my s300, plug it in, loaded the stock p74 ecu rom into it, and try to fire it up.
It won't start and throw a code 20...
Code 20 ELD Electrical Load Detector
Car is 99 integra LS, stock, original ecu was p75 obd2a.
S300 ecu is p28 chipped with obd2a -> obd1 harness.
I look at the engine bay, silly me, i forgot to plug the vacuum hose back in the IM (took it off when i try to install my password jdm strut bar).
So i plug it back, and try to start it up again, it cranks, but it just die right after i turn the key.
I thought ok, maybe i messed something up, so i plug my stock ecu back but it starts right up!!!
So i know there is nothing wrong with the car itself.
Could it be that the p74 rom come with the SManager is bogus?
I turned on recording while i start it up and it logged this, not sure if it help:
It went around the cell between 500-700 rpm and column 4 and 5.

Does anyone have experience on s300?

is the eld disabled in ur parameters. eld shouldnt keep the car from running though. did you purchase the s300 new or used. maybe a bad unit. typically all the base maps in smanager work fairly decent for there apllication
used unit, ELD is not disabled, i'm also asking the same question on another forum as well, the person also said the 16 timing and eld shouldn't stop the car from starting.
This is what i've posted on the other forum:
Well i assumed that the default settings from S300 would be set to stock settings,
it was already like that when i load the stock p74 rom.
Everything is stock on the car right now except for the ECU, no wideband nothing.
I just want to load the basemap and get the car started, that would be my step one.
After that i will order the WB02 and start to play with it, but it seems like i am currently stuck on my step 1 hehe...
Let me google it and find out what are the stock settings and try to apply to it.
Meanwhile, here is the stock p74 fuel map (stock from the filename... i trust that it is the stock map).

The car should start even with an ELD code.
Try disabling every parameter besides alternator control & re-uploading the calibration.
Next step would be to try another obd1 ecu to see if your problem is in your obd2 to obd1 harness or install the ecu in another vehicle to see if it works etc.

Update:
- Disabled ELD
- Disabled IAC error
- Have spark (thanks TurboLS with the timing light trick)
- Not sure if i have fuel, no socket to take out the spark plug, but the s300 logging seems to show the injector were at 4% duty cycle when i crank it.
