Thanks

Talk to Tony at T1RaceDevelopment.com. If he won't make it, he knows someone who will.

What standalone are you using?

The AEM EMS is plug-n-play so I always assumed that most standalone engine management systems were the same or came with there own patch loom like Haltech.

Ya. I couldn't imagine he'd be looking without being aware of what he's going to be running and what he needs, but you never know.

Exactly, you never know.

I figure if he knew what he needed he probably would have been more specific rather than just asking for a harness for a standalone.

So an Aem ecu comes with its own wiring harness that runs the engine without anything else (except something like a power and ground source)? I'm doing an f20c Miata swap btw

Looking for something like this
http://www.hybrid-racing.com/store/h...s-engines.html
Except for an F20c

Is that what the Aem Ems is?

Here is where the word standalone takes on a different meaning. In the Honda world a standalone is an aftermarket computer that is used for tuning instead of the factory Engine Control Unit (ECU). In your case you are using the word standalone as a complete engine, harness and ECU for use in a total swap package.

You are definitely going to need a harness like the one hybrid racing makes. Unfortunately I've never seen one for the F20C before. Maybe you should ask/email Hybrid and see if they can make one for you. I think that is going to be your only course of action for wiring when swapping a Honda engine into a Mazda chassis.

None of the Honda aftermarket EMS manufacturers would have an off the shelf complete standalone F20C harness.

I emailed Hybrid-Racing, they suggested I contact Chasebays as they cannot make me the harness I need. When I think of standalone I think of something that stands alone, meaning it doesn't require any other wiring, besides say a power and ground. Thanks for the input guys
