Custom wiring harness. Ecu to engine.
This is what I have.
94/95 b18c with the engine harness on it.(Bought from hmotorsonline ) and what we will be doing with this engine is building a turbo motor that will do no more than sit on an engine stand and run. Maybe it will be put into a car eventually. Its a project for work we are doing. So I will be modifying the stock jdm engine harness to plug directly into the AEM EMS. I have a pinout and thats the easy part. What I need to know is which wire is which. Example--- map sensor has 3 wires. Which one is the 5 volt, which one is the signal, which one is the ground? Does the engine harness match the chassis harness as far as color goes or will it be a guessing game? Does chilton, haynes, or helms have this type of indepth stuff. Or would I be best off just getting a junkyard chassis harness and cutting out all the rest of the bs. I have pulled chassis harness' before and it is not fun at all. TIA

Re: Custom wiring harness. Ecu to engine. (Sack Master)
The jdm harness is different from the chassis harness. Just use your stock harness and add the vtec wires, or get a usdm gsr harness. Unless you want to trace each wires and compare it with a usdm harness to understand what they are. So my suggestion is to get a usdm harness and modify it and add what you need to.

Re: Custom wiring harness. Ecu to engine. (Modified Motors)
All I have is the JDM engine harness. I don't want to go to the junk yard and dig out a chassis harness. Thats a pain in the ***. I will probably just end up cutting up some ecu plugs and then doing it myself.
Since thats the only answer I got so far does anyone know of a book that has all the wiring schematics in it? Just so I know which one is which coming out of the sensor. I don't really care about colors. As long as I know which wire does what for that sensor.
