Ehh, seems like too much crap can go wrong, I suppose if you park your car in your driveway on a hot day and pressure wash it and let it sit a couple hours "ON A HOT DAY" until the water evaporates It might work... although does not sound like you have this option.

Honestly Ive done this more then once, go to some autostore go buy a gallon of simple green and a spray bottle "or smaller bottles" Generally I find i use more then 1 smaller bottle and the stuff is magic.

So anyway get your car nice and hot and just spray that **** everywhere in the engine bay, let it sit half our or so, and spray it all again, then get a hose with a spray nozzle on it and spray your dirt away..

the dirt will fall off.

you generally wont have to scrub the minor things , although it wouldn't hurt.

The stuff is non toxic.
post before and after pictures too!

yup. cover the dizzy and the battery (and spark plug wires if you want), use a normal garden hose, rinse first, then spray some simple green on there, let it sit, rinse off (scrub some of the parts if you want), let it air dry, add some 303 protectant or something, and voila LOL
