p75 chipping

Default p75 chipping

So i bought a Phearable.net chip for my LS do i HAVE to have a socket to get this in or no?

You can solder it right in if your ECU doesn't have a stock chip or socket there already, or remove whatever is there if it does. A socket is the preferred method because you can pop the chip out and pop a new one in down the road if your setup changes.

ok thanks does anyone know about the p75's having a chip in there i can already remove or what?

They generally do not have chips from the factory. Hence why people send them out to get the ecu chipped and all the soldering work done.

We always recommend socketing the ecu. Our DIY chip kit includes a socket.
