Default p2p ecu for lsvtec??

I have a 96 integra. It had a b16a2 engine, and gsr trans when i got it. Im in the middle of my first lsvtec conversion, b18b1 bottom and b16 head. I checked to see what kind of ecu was in the car because im obviously going to have to tune it. The teg had a P2P ecu. Which to my understanding is for 96-00 0bd2a civic ex. Will i be able to use this ecu or do i need to get one to match the head before i start tuning?

You need an obd1 ecu and adapter harness with at least a chip socket. P28 and P06 (w vtec conversion) are the most commonly used. If you purchase a Neptune setup from phearable or similar you can get it preloaded with a basemap for your application.
