i have 99 civic ex and im swapping to a b20b. i plan on swapping out the head and going b20v down the road a bit. for the time being i need an ecu for the b20b and im finding alot of automatic ones.

would an obd2b auto ecu work with my stock harness and what do i have to do to convert it to manual? i don't know if the procedure is the same to convert obd1 and obd2

 

I would recommend you use an obd2 to obd1 jumper harness & a chipped obd1 ecu for performance use. For emissions inspection (if you have it) go ahead and run a obd2 p75 5 speed ecu (from a 96-99 integra ls,gs,rs).
