Default obd2a lsvtec

couple months ago I went lsvtec. got the engine fully rebuild, its a b16 head over a 1996 ls block. runs smooth, I added the head and intake manifold, everything else is just my recycled ls parts to make it run. I wanna keep it obd2 while having vtec. how can I make an obd2a vtec ecu work on my car without throwing a cel for a knock or other things. what's my best option as far as a vtec ecu. thanks in advance

Your obd2 ecu can't be modified with any solutions on the open market.

thanks for the response, I know obd2 can't be modified, I was wondering if I can just use a 1997 integra type r ecu, I'm sure it has a knock sensor is there a way I can still run it? ls blocks dont have a knock sensor

ecu goes to open loop under high load.
aka LS vtec is not the same as ITR motor and wont run properly in vtec or under high load.

get an obd1 chipped ecu and jumper harness for it and tune

even a slight change like intake and exhaust can throw your car in very lean condition at higher rpm...
