Default Obd1 non-vtec sohc gas saving binary

I was talking to a buddy over the weekend about creating a gas saving binary for the non-vtec sohc's. He said it caught wind a while ago that mista bone had something like this and was getting 40+ mpg. I'd like to know if anyone else has done this type of tune, and released it to the public. If it's out and about where can i download it?

Only way to do this is burn a basemap for your setup and tune it. Make it lean as possible where it would still run the car properly.

You would need a wideband to do so. In this situation if it was me I would tune for high 15's to mid 16 for my AFR at cruising!

Yup, the above works great... and you can still keep full throttle tuned to get some "power" out of it when you need it.
